As of October 28, 2026, Monster Hunter Outlanders pre-registration is open for the international mobile release, and pre-download has begun ahead of the scheduled October 29 launch. Use the official iOS or Android storefront connected to the account and region you intend to play. If the store now shows Get or Install instead of a pre-register button, that can reflect the pre-download stage; it does not mean the international servers are already open.
There is no paid pre-order to buy. Monster Hunter Outlanders is a free-to-play mobile game with in-app purchases, so the useful pre-launch action is to register or install through the correct official distribution route. The October 29 release is for iOS and Android. Mainland China has a separate release plan beginning in 2027, and its WeGame version in development is not an international PC launch.
Current pre-registration status on October 28
The important distinction is between reserving the game, downloading its client, and gaining access to live servers. Those are separate states.
| Route | Current pre-launch meaning | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| International App Store | The official listing is available, with a pre-launch client shown before release | Use the Apple account and regional storefront you plan to keep using |
| International Google Play | The official listing currently offers installation during the pre-download window | Install from the official listing, but wait for confirmed server access |
| Garena route | A separate regional publisher portal and milestone campaign are presented for Southeast Asia | Follow the official regional route that applies to your account and location |
| Mainland China | Planned from 2027 onward, with no exact release date confirmed | Do not treat the mainland client or WeGame development as the October 29 international version |
A store listing, version number, install count, or completed download cannot establish that the game is playable. The pre-launch App Store client displays version 1.0.9, but that number describes the available client rather than an opened season or live server.
How to pre-register on the correct mobile account
- Choose your distribution route first. Decide whether your intended release is handled through the international storefront or the Garena regional route. Do this before creating a character or attaching web-event rewards.
- Open the official iOS or Android listing. Avoid unrelated APK pages, code generators, and pages for other Monster Hunter games. The international release is officially listed for mobile, not Steam, consoles, or an international WeGame client.
- Check the signed-in store account. Use the Apple ID or Google account that you expect to retain after launch. Registration on one store account should not be treated as registration on every account on the device.
- Use the action currently offered. Depending on storefront and timing, the button may reserve the app, get it, or install the pre-download. Complete the available official action rather than searching for a separate paid pre-order.
- Keep the client associated with that store account. If an update appears before or after launch, return to the same official listing. Do not replace it with an unverified package merely because the servers are not yet accessible.
- Record the region you intend to use. This matters especially if you also participate in a web event that later asks you to select a server and account.
- Wait for the scheduled launch state. A successful installation on October 28 is preparation for October 29, not proof of early access.
The game needs an internet connection. Pre-registration does not reserve offline access, bypass account creation, or guarantee that a chosen server will be transferable later.
International and Garena accounts need a deliberate choice
Level Infinite or Proxima Beta and Garena appear as distinct publisher routes. That distinction alone does not prove whether parties, progression, purchases, or account data can cross between their services. It also does not prove that migration will be available.
Choose the route that officially serves your region, then coordinate with friends before settling on a server. The international notice explicitly says North America, Japan, and Europe data is independent and cannot be transferred between regions. If your priority is playing together, matching the same supported distribution and in-game server labels is safer than assuming two similarly named clients share everything. Do not pick a different route solely to chase a milestone graphic unless that route is actually intended for your account.
Pre-registration milestone rewards
The global 5 million announcement confirms Standard Contract ×5 and Zenny ×5,000 as unlocked server-wide rewards, delivered through in-game mail after launch. The Garena regional portal shows its own milestone tracker; the table below describes that Garena display, not an assumed global reward inventory.
| Milestone | Displayed reward | Status shown |
|---|---|---|
| 5 million | Standard Contract ×5 and Zenny ×5,000 | Achieved |
| 10 million | Adventurer Raya | Achieved |
| 15 million | Standard Contract ×5 and Primeberry ×20 | Achieved |
| 20 million | Standard Contract ×5 and Aqua Dew ×20 | Not marked achieved in the snapshot |
Raya is a Dual Blades Adventurer. Do not reinterpret her as a weapon choice for every recruited character or as a Buddy reward.
The separate global 5 million milestone notice says its server-wide rewards will be distributed through in-game mail after the official launch. That means an empty mailbox before launch is not a failed registration. It also means the displayed milestone is not an item already present in a pre-launch client.
Treat each threshold according to its current displayed status. Do not count the unachieved 20 million tier as part of a guaranteed starting inventory, and do not convert Standard Contracts, Primeberry, Aqua Dew, or Zenny into a cash value that the campaign does not state. Later delivery timing should be checked in current in-game notices rather than inferred from an earlier threshold.
The Barim web event is a separate task
Pre-registration and the Buddy Squad Investigation Notes event overlap in timing, but they are not the same claim flow. Registering in an app store does not automatically complete the event map or send every event reward to a character.
The event remains available until November 30, 2026 at 14:59 UTC. Daily login quests reset at 15:00 UTC, and missed daily event logins cannot be claimed retroactively or carried forward. Completing all map investigations awards the SR Buddy Barim, Zenny ×2,000, Dewberry ×5, and Verdant Dew ×5. Barim is SR, not SSR.
After the game launches, create your character first. Then return to the event rewards page, select the correct server and account, confirm the selection, and claim the rewards through the in-game mailbox. This manual account-and-server step is the critical difference from simply installing the game. If you have not created a character, the event page does not yet have the final destination required for delivery.

The map-completion reward is listed separately from prize draws; store pre-registration alone does not complete every map investigation.
Pre-register, pre-download, pre-order, and launch access
These terms describe different outcomes:
| Term | What it means here | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-register | Associate interest or a reservation with an official mobile route before release | A live character, open server, or instant reward delivery |
| Pre-download | Install the available client before the scheduled launch | That login, matchmaking, purchases, or gameplay are active |
| Pre-order | A paid reservation made before release | Required for this free-to-play game |
| Launch access | The released service accepts players through the supported client | Cross-region migration or compatibility with an unofficial platform |
| Web-event claim | Bind an eligible event reward to a created character, server, and account | Automatic delivery from app-store registration alone |
This separation also explains why the store can show an install button while the game remains pre-launch. The client is one part of the release; server availability and reward delivery are later states.
Common pre-registration problems
The store shows Install instead of Pre-register
Use the official install option. Pre-download began on October 28, so the storefront may have moved beyond a reservation label. After installation, leave the client tied to the same store account and wait for the scheduled launch. Do not treat a title screen, asset download, or version display as confirmation that servers opened early.
The game does not appear in your storefront
First verify that you are using the official route for your region and the intended Apple or Google account. The international and Garena distribution routes are distinct, while mainland China follows a later plan. A missing listing is not evidence that an APK mirror is the correct solution, and an unofficial package does not establish account eligibility or stable launch support.
You entered an email but the app was not reserved
A news or email sign-up and a storefront reservation are different actions. Open the official mobile listing while signed into the account you plan to use, then complete the store's current action. Do not assume an email address has automatically enabled download or installation on every device.
The client is installed but login is unavailable
On October 28, that is consistent with pre-download. The North America, Japan, and Europe servers are scheduled for October 28 at 22:00 UTC; do not apply that time automatically to Garena. Avoid repeatedly switching regions, creating replacement store accounts, or installing unrelated clients merely to get past a pre-launch access screen.
Milestone rewards are missing
Check the timing and reward type before troubleshooting. The confirmed 5 million server-wide rewards are described as post-launch in-game mail, not pre-launch inventory. For the separate Barim event, you must create a character and complete the web page's server-and-account selection before expecting mailbox delivery. Do not use the Barim process as proof that every milestone follows the same claim method.
You registered through the wrong regional route
Do not assume purchases, progress, characters, or rewards can be moved. Before spending or investing time, verify the publisher route, account, and server labels shown by the current client. If you are coordinating with friends, compare those labels directly instead of relying on a broad word such as “global.”
Launch-day handoff checklist
Use this sequence once October 29 access becomes available:
- Update or open the client from the same official store listing used before launch.
- Confirm that the client belongs to the regional distribution you intended.
- Sign in with the account you actually want to keep.
- Read the available server labels before creating a character, especially if friends or web rewards are involved.
- Create the character on the chosen server.
- Check in-game notices and the mailbox for unlocked server-wide milestone rewards.
- If you joined Buddy Squad Investigation Notes, return to its event page and bind the correct server and account before claiming.
- Keep an unclaimed threshold separate from a missing event reward: each has a different eligibility and delivery path.
- If a reward is not present, use the current in-game or event status as the authority; do not infer a hidden requirement, exact delivery delay, or transfer rule.
Your pre-registration is launch-ready when the official mobile client is associated with the intended store account and regional route. Reward readiness is a second condition: the correct character and server must exist for any event that explicitly requires binding after launch.
